We recently invited Thalia to speak in the neuroeconomics seminar series in our department (in February 2019). I was impressed by the depth of the work from her lab she presented, going all the way from the "macro" level of networks between humans to the "micro" level of neural networks in the brain during social interactions. She backed up each layer with data and innovative analyses, and with ease catered to the very diverse audience in our department (economists, psychologists, neuroscientists, biologists). If you look for a keynote speaker on social neuroscience, emotion, empathy, theory of mind, or leadership from a neuroscience perspective, Thalia would be a perfect fit.
