  Dr. Lankinen is a dedicated scientist encompassing extraordinary technical skills in complex signal analysis methods and electrophysiology, intellectual curiosity, creativity, modesty, integrity, and openness to share her time and knowledge to support others. I studied in the same department as her at Aalto University and have seen many of her departmental talks, which were always well prepared, clear, and logical. Besides being a superb science communicator, she makes an outstanding collaborator (we co-mentored two Bachelor's students).
