I have seen Elsa give several excellent talks. She is able to provide very clear, concise explanations of complex phenomena. Her work using focused ultrasound to understand the brain circuitry of reward-based learning and decision is groundbreaking.

Elsa Fouragnan is an outstanding scientists. An engineer by training, she has performed technically challenging simultaenous EEG-fMRI experiments and more recently, she has pioneered the use of non-invasive deep focused ultrasound neuromodulation which she has used in macaque monkeys and is not setting up for use in humans. She has recently become a lecturer at the University of Plymouth.
