  Good day, I am, recommending Paola Di Maio because she has been a major part in my growth as a researcher. In 2024 when she became my mentor, I expressed my confusion to her on my focus area. Se approached this with calmness. She was not just a mentor, she also was a teammate. Her inputs pushed me to read on different topics surrounding my research focus, and se advised me to put them in writing. This has really helped me, and has contributed to my growth in Scientific communication and to the researcher I am, in 2026. Her advice also gave me confidence, because it was an honour to know that I could also explain my findings to a researcher that has even in the field of neuroscience for a long time.
